In the dynamic landscape of modern commerce, businesses are constantly seeking innovative strategies to attract and retain customers.
Among these strategies, coupons have emerged as a powerful tool that not only drives sales but also shapes consumer behavior. Coupons tap into fundamental psychological triggers that motivate consumers.
The allure of a discount, whether it's a percentage off, a buy-one-get-one-free deal, or a limited-time offer, activates the pleasure centers in our brains.
Problem Statement
CRM, as the leading restaurant business brand in the hearts of consumers, strives to provide innovation and deliver valuable meals for all occasions. To show appreciation to loyal customers who have consistently chosen their food services, the company seeks to implement a reward system.
However, the company is uncertain about the most efficient solution for their application.
It’s crucial to understand what truly motivates these customers and what kind of reward or recognition will resonate with them.
👉 I started the process by sending the surveys with loyalty segments.
The goal was to quantify customer preferences and reward expectations from a larger sample of loyal customers. After did the meeting several times with the stakeholders. We decided to send out online surveys to the existing customers, particularly those who have been with the company for a significant amount of time.

We found an interesting data and from these responses, we can develop a reward system that incorporates E-Vouchers, Coupons, and Stamps. The responses reflect customer sentiments that align with these features, helping shape the reward structure and customer engagement strategy.
The challenge is to create a system that is easy to use, effective, and enhances customer loyalty.
Here's the initial concept of the user experience during the process on the application.
Solutions
To address this challenge, We recommended the development of a multi-tiered rewards platform. That combines E-Vouchers, Coupons, and Stamp Rewards in an integrated system.
🎉 E-Voucher System
I implemented a digital platform that allows customers to receive E-Vouchers directly to their mobile devices. These E-Vouchers can be redeemed via the app at participating restaurants or food outlets.

This system offers convenience, eliminates paper waste, and can easily be customized for special occasions, promotions, or seasonal offers. It also allows the company to track customer engagement and reward behavior.

I incorporated digital coupons that can be used for discounts or special offers. The coupon system should be flexible enough to allow for targeted campaigns, such as offering discounts based on the customer’s purchase history or frequency.

The system can include codes or barcodes for easy scanning and redemption during transactions. This approach fosters a sense of exclusivity and urgency, driving repeat visits.
🎁 Stamp System (Loyalty Points)
I developed a digital stamp or loyalty program that rewards customers with points for every purchase or visit. The more points customers accumulate, the greater the rewards they can earn, such as free meals, exclusive offers, or priority service.

This system can be gamified to increase customer engagement by providing achievements or levels that unlock new rewards as customers continue to use the service.
